Latest reviews of TruLink Hearing Control app for iPhone and iPad
Is Starkey drunk? How could they charge a premium price for hearing aids that consistently fail to remain paired, or can't be found by their janky app, and oftentimes, when I get a phone call in a noisy environment, these Stupid Starkeys think I want to have the outside noise amplified to painful levels and then I can't hear my call in my aids. Only a drunk could make something this useless and then do little of nothing about it. They just don't care.
This app is truly useless, and the ability to use phone discretely to change settings was my primary reason for purchase. App searches constantly but never finds my hearing aids. The only way it will connect is if I delete the app entirely, download again and start from new. So all my settings disappear. Even then, randomly disconnects from one ear or the other. The iPhone finds the hearing aids; the problem is the Starkey app. Useless.
I have had the halo 2 for about 4 months. Last week the left hearing aid would not pair. I went to the hearing aid specialist i purchased from and they updated the trulink app and ios. Now neither hearing aid will pair with the app. Very poor app/rollout.
Agree the app is terrible. I have spent two 2 hours sessions with the audiologist and the second session was with a Starkey tech and I'm still having issues with the app crashing. I go back next week to try something different unless they get the app fixed for IOS 10.1.1
